La Revista NOVA da la bienvenida al Prof. Dr. José Antonio Rodríguez Montes al Comité Editorial y Científico

Revista NOVA is honored to announce the incorporation of Prof. Dr. José Antonio Rodríguez Montes, one of the most distinguished figures in surgery and medical academia in Ibero-America and Europe, as a new member of its Editorial and Scientific Board.

Prof. Rodríguez Montes is Emeritus Professor at the Autonomous University of Madrid and former Head of the Department of General and Digestive Surgery at La Paz University Hospital (Madrid). His academic and scientific career has an international scope, with training and collaborations in leading institutions in Cambridge, Paris, and several universities across Europe and the Americas.

Author of more than 270 articles, 29 books, and 120 book chapters, he has led numerous research projects and doctoral theses. He is a member of prestigious medical academies such as the Royal National Academy of Medicine of Spain, the Royal Academy of Doctors of Spain, and the European Academy of Sciences and Arts. His contributions to research and to the training of new generations of physicians and scientists have been recognized with major distinctions, including the Grand Cross of the Civil Order of Alfonso X the Wise.
